Hey Gary--what is your favorite illustration you ever worked on?
I don't know---but this popped up as a screensaver today----maybe the funnest times as an illustrator were these days circa 1997- in the tenth floor palace of art and design, with Matt Key, Jeff Jansen and Keith Locke...represented by the soon to retire Suzanne Craig...one t-shirt, one Coke ad for the '96 olympics in atlanta, and 3 Mead folders. All regular clients from that era---FUN TIMES!!.png)

my ONE and only call to do a cover for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED---back in 95 when Art Modell moved the team out of Cleveland---A.D. gave me his idea, and at the end of the phone call, expressed that i was free to throw in ideas of my own if i thought it would work better.
well---Arrogant as i was, i took him UP on that....drew several variations of what i thought would be FUN TO DRAW...NOT .... what they were trying to say...which was that Modell was punching the city in the gut by taking their beloved BROWNS away to baltimore.
I was a FOOL.
