this OLD GOLFER doooood was done for Sports Illustrated back in the day

i was trying something different  from my usual watercolor--i think i went over the watercolor with acrylics.

So the MEDITATING GOLFER was rejected

because it looked to close to something some other story in the mag was doing-----so-------let's see if this one flies???? idea being- how to get in the head of the friend you  REALLLLY wanna beat next weekend.

i really wanted to paint the meditating golfer...maybe it'll show up as a real LIVE painting-----i need to paint something---i haven't painted with a real paint brush since oct '08.
